While I was in Fort Wayne doing genealogy research, I found a book called "Newspaper Deaths 1931 - 1940" by Mr. Robert Knief. In it was an obituary listing for Joseph D. Monnin, son of John George Monnin and Marie Ann Chevre. Also in the same book was an obituary listing for Joseph's wife, Mary Catherine Simon Monnin.

Made contact today with a new researcher. I believe he must be a descendant. He e-mailed me two family descendancy charts, one for Jean George Monnin and one for Nicholas Didier. Unfortunately, nothing is documented. But it's something to go on.
